Christmas Day started with a giggle when Little Miss S crawled over to the other side of her bed to tickle Miss M awake. It was 6.37am which in the scheme of things is a sleep in for Little Miss S so I will refrain from any negative commentary about that.
We started with some hurried sustenance before opening presents.
Then the Santa fun began!
My favourite quote of the day came from Miss M, whilst playing with her new mini dolls house: “I love sharing and playing with (Little Miss S). She’s my best friend!”
Lunch was not shabby at all for a camping do: locally caught seafood straight off the boat at 4pm on Christmas Eve with a quinoa/roasted capsicum/wilted spinach/sundries tomato/pinenut salad and a green salad sprinkled with locally grown cranberries.
So all together my (first) plate looked like this:
The mussels were actually collected ourselves from Snug beach. Well, I didn’t get them, the boys did. Hunters & gatherers indeed!
The kids were very cute.
Cheers!
I hope you all enjoyed a magical Christmas.
